Review:
I love that these books are all together now. They were all released in the Echo Ridge Anthologies but having all of Rachelle's Echo Ridge books in one place is so great. These were all very different but all take place in the same small town so it brings them all together. They were all quick sweet and very well written. Hope for Christmas by Rachelle J. Christensen
Synopsis:
Anika Fletcher hates Christmas--its promises of good tidings and hope for the future are a tinseled as the ornaments on Kenworth's Hope Tree. Despite her feelings, Anika wants to maintain her daughter's faith in the magic of the season and gladly accepts a second job working with the handsome Carlos Rodriguez to restore Kenworth's old fashioned soda fountain. Carlos is no stranger to hard times and slowly shares his life of light and joy with Anika as they work together. Just as her fragile soul begins to feel hope again, an ill-timed act of charity changes everything. Anika isn't sure who she can trust or if hope is worth nurturing-- especially at Christmas when it's easy to enjoy a kiss and believe love can last longer than the season.
Review:
This is a sweet story of a hard working single mom who wants to give her daughter a magical Christmas but they are struggling to make ends meet. Anika works hard at her job and meets Carlos who is a kind man who seems to be around when she needs him but she doesn't trust anyone. Carlos is a gentleman and I love how he treats Anika and her daughter. I found myself hoping Anika would see his kind heart. It has quite the ending and you hope that it will all work out. This was a well written cute story that puts you in the holiday spirit. This is a perfect Christmas story about faith, family, hard work, love, and of course Hope!

Coming Home to Love by Rachelle J. Chistensen
Synopsis:
When Laney Richins left Echo Ridge, New York eight years ago, she vowed she'd never return, but life had other plans. Those plans included her cute little boy and a divorce, so Laney moved back home and started over. Working in the flower shop seems like the perfect plan until Billy Redford, the man she should have married shows up.
Billy Redford's heart was broken when his high school sweetheart turned her back on him and fled Echo Ridge for the big city lights. Running into Laney in Echo Ridge now brings up past feelings he thought were long gone. She's prettier than ever, still seems to read his mind, and despite his protests ends up on the building and decorating committee with him for the Homecoming dance. Billy knows how to build just about anything, but he isn't sure he knows how to mend a broken heart.
Review:
Yay for another Echo Ridge Romance. I have loved each of the stories that Echo Ridge is a part of. I love that little town and wish I could visit it some day ;) This is a great clean story about forgiveness and second chances. Billy lives and runs his own business in Echo Ridge when he runs in to the girl that got away. Laney has moved back after a divorce and has a child and Billy doesn't want to see her. They get put on the same homecoming committee for the High School which forces them to be around each other. Forgiveness is expressed and sparks fly. I loved the characters and the storyline. It was well written and I very much enjoyed it!

The Princess Bride of Riodan by Rachelle J. Christensen
Synopsis:
When a mysterious man offers to help Elise redecorate the old Bed & Breakfast, she gladly hands him a wallpaper steamer. After she discovers his true identity, she doesn't know whether to curtsy or run and hide. Unfortunately, hiding isn't an option because her heart is already tangled up with the handsome prince. At the same time, Elise's old crush from high school wants a relationship and she's forced to decide whether to chase after a fairy tale ending or stay grounded in reality.
Review:
This is a sweet book about a cute extra hard working girl who meets her Prince Charming. This was a cute read and I enjoyed the characters. Elise has multiple jobs so she can help her Granny and while she was working at the Bed & Breakfast a handsome man comes and offers to help her. She later finds out he is a prince who is hiding out in Echo Ridge. I liked Wes' character... I loved that he was a prince but he didn't think twice about helping Elise he just went to work. He was so caring and thoughtful. There were some laugh out loud parts due to Granny and Elise's honesty. Their chemistry was perfect and it made for another great Echo Ridge book. It had fun references to the hit movie The Princess Bride so that was a fun added bonus.

The Kiss Thief by Rachelle J. Christensen
Synopsis:
As the head librarian of the Echo Ridge Library, Britta Klein thrives on order and categorization. Unfortunately, the old church-turned-library is in desperate need of a renovation. The Harvest Hurrah fundraiser seems to be the answer, but plans keep going awry. With help from Milo Geissler, accomplished musician, piano tuner, and kiss thief, each catastrophe is narrowly avoided. When Milo goes to great lengths to help Britta find a key classic book, she begins to wonder if there is more to life than books and order. Can she allow this man who speaks the language of music to tune her heart to a new song?
I am a fan of the Echo Ridge Anthology books and this is one of the novella's in the Kisses Between the Lines Echo Ridge Anthology. It was released as a stand alone and an epilogue was added to finish it off. I loved that the book was centered around a library in the small town of Echo Ridge. Britta is the librarian and she is trying to save her library by having a fundraiser and events during the towns Harvest Hurrah. Around every corner handsome Milo is there to help her. She made some promises to herself because of her German heritage and getting involved with Milo breaks those promises so she turns him down often. He doesn't give up and she finally agrees to a date with him. I loved the development of the characters and the story. I liked the interaction and chemistry between Britta and Milo. This was a cute, sweet, and clean read. Life may not always turn out how you plan it to but it can turn out better.

Christmas Makeover by Cami Checketts
Synopsis:
Chelsea Jamison has been infatuated with Drew Stirling longer than she's loved playing basketball, high-top sneakers, and the Knicks. Unfortunately, all Drew sees is the kid who kicked his trash in the high school free throw contest and not the girl whose heart breaks into a fast dribble when he's near. Drew makes an unexpected visit home to Echo Ridge and their friendship picks up where they left off as they scheme to make a teenaged boy's Christmas dreams come true. When Chelsea realizes she's fallen for her best friend, she wonders if there is any hope of a relationship with Drew or if she's stuck in buddy-status for life.
My Review:
I loved this book and couldn't put it down. It is everything I love to read... sweet, clean, contemporary romance and to top it off Christmas! I love novellas these days, especially when they flow and have lots of info about the characters and story like this one did. Not only did I love the relationship but I loved the storyline about giving and helping a young boy and his family have a wonderful Christmas. This book left you smiling.
