Review:

This was an engaging, relatable and heartwarming Christmas book. I enjoyed each of the novella's. They were all very different but full of love and the magic of the holiday season. The stories were well written and enjoyed the storylines.

Forgotten Kisses is about a costume designer who's ex-boyfriend gets cast in the show she is working on. It's a great second chances book centered on always being honest with each other. I loved this novella! I'm always impressed with Cindy's books and want to read more. 5

The Last Christmas is about a couple on the verge of divorce and hiding it until Christmas is over. I enjoyed this book and the main lessoned learned is communication is key and especially in a marriage. I enjoyed how it was written and I'm glad they took a second chance on love. 4.5

Truth or Dare is a novella about life's challenges and that if you let people into your lives they can help you have hope and happiness. Jonah is a war veteran that lost his leg and is struggling and when a blizzard hit he was stranded with his long time friend Cami. He hasn't seen Cami for a long time and he wasn't the nicest at first but as they spent time together and opened up magic happened. I enjoyed this book and how they were able to help each other. 4.5

Holiday Bucket List is about two long time neighbor friends and the memories they make at Christmas time. It is Celeste's first time being alone for Christmas and Mike helps her not feel lonely by creating silly bucket lists for them to achieve. Their friendship is very strong but at this special time of year they realize how much they would love more than just friendship. After seven years the sparks fly and it could be the end of their being alone. 4.5

Christmas Everyday is a sweet Christmas novella full of forgiveness, hope and the magic of the Christmas season. Monica is excited to buy the Christmas store where she works but her boyfriend is not happy about it. Eww I am not a fan of Monica's boyfriend... what a jerk! Jaxon comes to town to repair his relationship with his parents and before he makes it home helps a girl from her rude boyfriend. I loved his caring nature and his willingness to help and give Monica hope. This was a sweet story and I enjoyed the relationship they begin to develop. 5

First and Last Christmas Date is a funny Christmas novella about two friends who went on a terrible first date and then didn't go out again for ten years! And once again their date was quite the adventure but oh boy did the sparks fly. There were so many mishaps that occurred on their date that you found yourself hoping things get worked out quick. It was a fun quick read. 4

Caught Kissing the Cowboy by Cindy Roland Anderson

Synopsis:

Tomi Jensen thought she'd landed the ultimate role when she was cast opposite of her Hollywood crush, Jake Kelley. It only took a few weeks of working with the self-absorbed actor to make her regret ever taking the part. When the film location for Whisper Falls changes to Snow Valley, Montana, Tomi is determined to finish filming so she can move onto bigger and better things. Throwing herself into her role as a small-town veterinarian, she shadows Dr. Ian Davies, the local vet her sister has been trying to set her up with for the past year. While Ian is single, extremely good-looking, and nice to old ladies and children, Tomi isn't looking to fall in love, especially with a man who never plans to leave his hometown. But spending two weeks with the hot cowboy complicates everything, and soon Tomi's dream of becoming an A-list actress starts to fade into the background as she and Ian grow closer. Still, when an opportunity for a bigger role comes her way, Tomi needs to decide what she wants more... living in the limelight or living with true love.

Review:

I'm a sucker for a book when a celebrity is involved... it just makes it more like your dreaming when reading the book. Normally the Male is the celebrity but roles are reversed in this cute book and I loved it. Tomi is an actress who's film relocated to my favorite small town Snow Valley. Her sister lives there so she was able to spend time with her and of course her sister has been wanting to set her up with the one and only Ian Davies but she's not interested in dating anyone. Ian is the town veterinarian and Tomi has to shadow him for her role and oh boy the steamy chemistry was just oozing off the pages...Like fireworks were going off from day one. I loved the characters, the witty writing and the strong connections. They had to figure life out and I loved how it ended. Once again i'm a big fan of Cindy!

Blue Moon Kisses by Cindy Roland Anderson

Synopsis:

At age twelve, Ashlee Nichols fell in love with her brother’s best friend, Beau Jacobsen. Everyone thought she was cute and that her crush was simply that…a crush. But her young heart had known he was the one, and she had planned on marrying him as soon as she was old enough. Unfortunately, when she confessed her feelings to Beau, he’d laughed, patted her on the head and told her he was flattered. Sure, Beau had been twenty-two at the time, but she knew she wouldn't always be a little girl. Just when she turned eighteen and was finally old enough to date him, Beau joined the Army and was deployed to Afghanistan. Now, six years later, Beau is back in Mitchel Creek, Georgia for a few weeks. He’s hotter than ever…and still ten years older, something he can’t seem to get past. He still sees Ashlee as a glorified little sister…or does he?

Review:

Oh my goodness... So many heart eyes for this adorable book! Where do I begin?! How about with the cover...oooo la la! I LOVE the cover. It is so cute and sassy and is the perfect representation of Ashlee. She is one sweet, sassy and spontaneous girl. You meet her in the first book of the series as Chase's little sister and now she has grown up and is a beautiful young woman that looks like a fairy tale princesses and just happens to be that for her job. Her twin sister Taylin gets married at the beginning of the book and after many years Ashlee sees Beau... the love of her life. She has had a crush on Chase's best friend forever and everyone knows it. Sparks begin to fly from the first moment they see each other again.
Beau can't believe what he was feeling when he saw Ashlee and how grown up and beautiful she is. Nothing can happen though because it's Chase's little sister. The connection these two have and the story line made for one swoon worthy book and it did not disappoint. I love the way Cindy writes and I was hooked from the first page all the way to the end. It is a clean romance with some steamy kisses and I enjoyed this book very much!

Destiny Came Knocking by Cindy Roland Anderson

Synopsis:

When Piper Jensen's dog has a litter of puppies that aren't anything like their purebred mother, she immediately suspects the culprit responsible for the mishap is her neighbor's derelict dog. Seeking restitution, Piper confronts the owner, Gabe Wesson, a single father of two children that likes to keep to himself. She isn't prepared for Gabe to be so handsome, nor so disagreeable, and is irritated by his demands for a paternity test to prove his dog is the sire. As she and Gabe try to work things out, they both fight a growing attraction neither one of them want. But when Piper finds her heart falling in love with his children, it might be the catalyst that tips the scale towards a destiny she never dreamed possible.

My Review:

This book makes you weak in the knees and even maybe blush a time or two. Cindy did it again... it was another page turner. I love her books and the way she writes. The Snow Valley Anthologies are some of my favorites. I love how Cindy's books all go together and they could be their own series.

Piper had to move away and moved to Snow Valley planning to be there only a few months. She was breeding her dog and when the puppies weren't what she thought they would be she had to confront her neighbor about his dog. From the first time they met you could feel the sparks flying. I love the development of the characters and you feel like you know them. Piper is very sweet and caring and Gabe is handsome, kind, and a great father. They aren't looking to date anyone but they both couldn't deny their chemistry.

This is a must read and I look forward to her next book and what the next cute shoes might be.
